Chelsea have confirmed Alejandro Garnacho's shirt number after he joined the Blues from Manchester United this summer.
The Argentine international becameChelsea's 10th summer signing, with Facundo Buonanotte also joining the Blues before Monday night's deadline. With Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens, Liam Delap and Estevao now part of the squad, Enzo Maresca has a completely overhauled attack for the 2025/26 season.
Garnacho was seen at Stamford Bridge over the weekend, soaking up the atmosphere during the Blues' 2-0 win over Fulham on Saturday lunchtime, having landed in London late last week to seal the deal.

Chelsea have now confirmed that Garnacho will wear the No.49 shirt. It is the same number he wore during his first two seasons in the United first team.
"I have a winning mentality and I have passion and a big personality," Garnacho said after completing his switch to Stamford Bridge.
"It’s a natural fit with a club like Chelsea, which have just won the Club World Cup. Chelsea are at the top now, and it’s important to fight for the club like the fans deserve."
Garnacho began training at Cobham this week and could make his Chelsea debut for the Blues' trip to Brentford on Saturday, September 13.
The 21-year-old has also revealed that Eden Hazard, who scored 110 goals and added 88 assists in 352 appearances during a trophy-laden seven-year stint in west London, is the player who made him become a Chelsea fan.
Speaking to Chelsea's club website, Garnacho admitted: "I loved Eden Hazard. Eden was one of my idols and a big reason why I watched and supported Chelsea a bit when I was younger.
"He was such an incredible player, playing in the same position that I wanted to, coming inside, scoring goals – he was crazy good."
