Arsenal have been handed an update on whether they could sign four attacking players this summer.
football.london have reported on details of a meeting in Lisbon between Gunners sporting director Andrea Berta and representatives from Sporting for striker Viktor Gyokeres. The difference between the Swede's valuation and Arsenal's offer is understood to be around €5million (£4m).
An offer of €65m (£56m) plus €15m (£13m) in add-ons was reportedly put forward during the meeting. However, Sporting are said to have held firm as they look to earn as much money as possible for their star forward. It is understood that the Lions are looking for €70m (£60m) guaranteed with no add-ons.

Other attackers being linked with a summer move to the Emirates Stadium include Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze. It is believed that the 27-year-old, who has a £67.5m release clause, would be keen on a move to Arsenal.
And when the question of signing up to four attackers this summer (Gyokeres, two wingers and Eze) was put to journalist Fabrizio Romano, he admits he depends on several factors.
"The market can always change, so it can be possible or not… it always depends on many factors," he said in his latest newsletter for GiveMeSport. "Talks are ongoing for several players now."
Elsewhere, football.london understands that Arsenal and Chelsea are currently locked in club-to-club negotiations for winger Noni Madueke.
The Gunners are looking to add a winger to their forward line this summer and were linked with a swoop for Athletic Bilbao's Nico Williams. However, the Basque club have since agreed a new 10-year contract with the Spanish international, meaning Mikel Arteta's side are needing to look elsewhere.
