What is the new rule of CBSE?
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has taken an important decision to further improve the safety and supervision of children. Now it has been made mandatory to install CCTV cameras in all CBSE-recognized schools. This rule will come into effect after the amendment made in the Affiliation Byelaws 2018. CBSE says that all cameras should have such technology that the recording can be kept safe for at least 15 days. If an incident has to be investigated, it will be necessary to have the recording available. For this, the school will also have to keep the backup system safe. This step of CBSE is being considered a big step towards making schools more secure.
