If you want to contribute to the defense of the country through science and technology, then there is good news for you. Defense Research and Development Organization i.e. DRDO has announced recruitment for scientist posts for 2025.
This opportunity is especially for those youth who have completed engineering studies and want to do something big for the country. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of DRDO rac.gov.in.
The notification of this recruitment is likely to be published in Rozgar Samachar in the first week of June. Applications can be made for 21 days from the date of release of the notification. A total of 148 scientist posts will be filled under this recruitment drive, which includes posts for DRDO, ADA and reserved categories.
Only those candidates will be considered eligible for recruitment who have a first class bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Also, they must have a valid score of GATE exam.
Talking about the age limit, the maximum age of candidates of General and EWS category has been kept at 35 years. This limit has been fixed at 38 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) category and 40 years for SC/ST.
Talking about the application fee, male candidates of General, OBC and EWS category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100, which will be deposited online. At the same time, the application is completely free for SC, ST, Divyang and all female candidates.
The selection process will be based on GATE score. Candidates will be shortlisted and called for interview in the ratio of 1:10. The final selection will be done on the basis of 80 percent weightage of GATE score and 20 percent weightage of interview.
