Send Push
The fourth quarter results are underway and some important earnings are scheduled for today. Infosys, Jio Financial, HDFC AMC, HDFC Life are the key earnings to watch out for. A total of 10 companies will announce their results on Thursday.

Apart from the above, Advik Capital, Devinsu Trading, Indosolar, Mahindra EPC Irrigation, National Standard (India) and Omnitex Industries India will also declare their results.

Infosys Q4 expectations

India's second largest services exporter Infosys is likely to see a sequential fourth-quarter revenue decline in constant currency terms even as the organic top line growth year-on-year will be decent.

Revenue from operations is seen rising 10% year-on-year (YoY), according to an average estimate of seven brokerages. There are varying estimates on the profits, ranging from a growth of 10% YoY to a decline of 19% YoY.

For instance, Motilal Oswal is seeing a PAT growth of 10%, while JM Financial is expecting the same to fall to around 19%. Nuvama, on the other hand, sees a profit decline of 16% YoY.

Analysts expect a sequential CC revenue decline of 1%, which will be at the top end of the guidance. This will be due to lower revenues from sale of third-party items for service delivery and seasonal weakness in demand.

Infosys is likely to guide for 1-4% CC revenue growth for FY26. The muted guidance is on account of two factors -- deteriorating macro courtesy of tariff wars and unlike FY25, the IT major does not have mega-deals contribution.

HDFC Life Q4 expectations

HDFC Life Insurance Company’s annualised premium equivalent (APE) is expected to go up in the range of 10% to 17% on a year-on-year basis in Q4FY25, according to estimates given by three brokerages, which have estimated APE between Rs 5,214 crore and Rs 5,510 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025.

The value of its new businesses (VNB) could go up by 10-14% in the said quarter. The estimates have been given by Mirae Asset Sharekhan, Yes Securities and Nuvama Institutional Equities. While Yes remains most conservative in its APE and VNB estimates, Nuvama remains most bullish in the pack.

The private insurer’s profit after tax could go up by 31% on a YoY basis while rising by 28% on the QoQ basis, Sharekhan said.
