In a major anti-encroachment drive, the Panvel Municipal Corporation on Thursday took action against multiple unauthorized structures in Kalamboli under the jurisdiction of Ward Committee B.
The operation targeted various illegal establishments, including an unauthorized library near Labor Naka in Sector 2, a police shelter center, illegal huts in Asudgaon Sector 4A, and unauthorized hotels and commercial outlets along Kalamboli Circle and Steel Market Yard Road.
The encroachment removal was executed by the corporation’s Encroachment Department. Present at the site were Deputy Commissioner Ravikiran Ghodke, Assistant Commissioner Shriram Pawar, Superintendent Arvind Patil, Engineer Shubham Raudale, municipal staff, and local police personnel, ensuring the operation was carried out smoothly and without disruption.
The civic body has reiterated its commitment to continue such drives to clear illegal structures and maintain public order and safety across the city.
