Maharashtra BJP leader and former MP Navneet Rana has once again received a death threat. This time, the threat was sent in a speed post letter from Hyderabad. After receiving the threat, the BJP leader filed a complaint at the Rajapeth police station in Amravati, based on which the police have registered a non-cognizable case.
It is reported that a letter threatening to kill Navneet Rana was received at her office on Tuesday (October 28) evening. Furthermore, the letter contained highly obscene and offensive language and threatened dire consequences.
Police are investigating the motive behind the threat.According to sources, this threatening letter was sent by a person named Javed from Hyderabad. Navneet Rana's personal secretary, Mangesh Kokate, immediately filed a complaint at the Rajapeth police station. Upon receiving the complaint, a team from the Amravati Crime Branch arrived at Navneet Rana's home and began investigating the matter.
The police have registered a case and launched a search for Javed, the accused who made the threat. They are investigating the motive behind the letter.

Previously, in May 2025, Navneet Rana allegedly received a call from Pakistan. When she filed a police complaint at that time, an FIR was not registered. The police stated that they cannot initiate an investigation into non-cognizable complaints without a court order. This was after Navneet Rana released a video criticizing Pakistan following Operation Sindoor.
