The third edition of the FDCI Manifest Wedding Weekend, held on August 2–3, 2025, at the Taj Palace, New Delhi, concluded on a high note, bringing together India’s most coveted names in fashion, jewellery, and bridal luxury under one roof. Curated by Manifest in collaboration with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), the two-day celebration offered an elevated, one-stop wedding fashion and lifestyle experience tailored for today’s discerning couples.
The weekend opened with an elegant champagne toast and welcome speeches by FDCI Chairman Sunil Sethi, Manifest Life, Executive Editor, Meghna Sharma, and RPSG COO Jamal Shaikh, setting the tone for a festival of couture and craftsmanship.
Reflecting on the success of the weekend, Avarna Jain, Chairperson, RPSG Lifestyle Media, said, “If Manifest magazine is a mirror to how weddings are evolving, the FDCI Manifest Wedding Weekend is an on-ground experience of those new ideas. We’re proud that some of the country’s top couturiers and jewellers, including a few service providers, participated in our event. Our carefully curated list of well-heeled brides and grooms-to-be, who had been waiting for FMWW, engaged with the creative professionals to make the weddings they’ve dreamed up come true. Today’s young, soon-to-be-married boys and girls come with their own unique ideas, which are often a blend of the traditional and the modern, and then engage with the professionals to hone the final result. It is such a fulfilling experience to bring these ideas closer to reality, and to watch the young manifest the most important day in their lives into a beautiful experience that’ll stay on in their lives forever.”
Sunil Sethi, Chairman, Fashion Design Council of India, said, “The success of FDCI Manifest Wedding Weekend 2025 is a testament to how deeply weddings are evolving into curated, personal experiences. With over 45 participants- from the who’s who of couture and jewellery to global luxury brands- the event brought together the finest in luxury wedding showcases under one roof. What made this edition truly special was the intimate engagement of HNI families and discerning couples, who didn’t just view collections, but experienced them firsthand. The addition of retail-ready couture from Hyundai India couture Week allowed us to bridge aspiration and access in a way that’s never been done before. We’re proud to have created a platform that seamlessly blended legacy with modernity, and most importantly, made wedding shopping an unforgettable celebration in itself.”
Over 40 of India’s most iconic names in fashion, jewellery, and luxury participated, transforming the Taj Palace into a living canvas of artistry. The couture line-up featured Aisha Rao, Amit Aggarwal, Divani, Dolly J, Falguni Shane Peacock, Jayanti Reddy, JJ Valaya, Kunal Rawal, Manish Malhotra, Mynah’s Reynu Taandon, Namrata Joshipura, Pallavi Puri, Rahul Mishra, Rimzim Dadu, Ritu Kumar, Rohit Bal, Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna, Roseroom by Isha Jajodia, Shantnu Nikhil, Sulakshana Monga, Suneet Varma, Supria Munjal, Tarun Tahiliani, and Varun Nidhika. The 2025 edition welcomed an exclusive audience of HNI families shopping for upcoming weddings, along with fashion insiders, influencers, and engaged couples. Many guests engaged in a hands-on exploration, trying on lehengas, sherwanis, and jewellery, bringing the bridal shopping experience to life. Adding to the holistic experience was Vedica, onboard as the official hydration partner for the weekend.
A special highlight of the event was the opportunity for buyers to access retail-ready couture straight from the runways of India Couture Week 2025, making once-in-a-lifetime fashion moments instantly accessible.
