One favourite has teased a return could be on the cards for their character in the future amid a devastating exit.
in upcoming episodes after almost five years on the soap. Now, actress has opened up on her decision to leave the show, but hinted it "wasn't goodbye forever".
Daisy will decide to depart for good amid a series of drama and turmoil in recent weeks, from her miscarriage after a hit-and-run, to her paternity plot and her revenge against Jenny Connor. But Daisy will decide to bow out with Charlotte now explaining her choice.
She said: "I’m feeling really grateful for my years on the show and the people I’ve gotten to work with. Kate [Brooks] has been so supportive about me wanting to go back out into the audition circuit and very generous with Daisy’s exit story, as she really wanted to do the character justice.
"And I can’t tell you how much fun the other cast members and I had playing out this last hurrah." Charlotte confessed it's "bittersweet" though, with Daisy "running from her heartache" and leaving "destruction" behind when she does.

Charlotte hinted it's not the last we will see of Daisy though, teasing it might not be a forever exit. She said: "It’s a very special building, and I have loved it. And it’s just goodbye for now, not goodbye forever."
On why Daisy ups and leaves, Charlotte revealed that things reach a point where she cannot stay on the street and has to leave her loved ones behind: She explained: "I think it’s very bittersweet for Daisy.
"Weatherfield has been her home for a while now and, early on, was giving her all the things she wanted – family, community, stability, people to love more than she perhaps loves herself – but it’s also been the source of so much trauma for her.
"I think we’ve watched her slowly try to pick up the pieces since her stalking storyline, but she’s ultimately realised she doesn’t need to stay in a place that’s caused her so much heartbreak. And it’s just as well she’s running far away to the other side of the planet, as she’s left a mountain of destruction and angry people in her wake!"
There will also be plenty of drama, pain and "backstabbing" on the cards in the lead-up to Daisy's exit too as Daisy's mother Christina continues to target Jenny, and takes things too far. Charlotte revealed of the scenes on the way: "Daisy knows exactly what her mother is like.
"She keeps giving Christina these chances to step up and be there for her and every time Christina throws it back in her face. She wants to believe Christina can change, but I think she’s more mad at herself for continuing to allow Christina to hurt her – when Daisy knows that’s all she’s ever done.
"But unfortunately for Christina, you reap what you sow, and no one can manipulate and backstab quite like our Daisy!" So it seems Daisy could get her long-awaited payback against her mum in some classic final scenes for the fan favourite, but you'll just have to tune in to find out. Charlotte's last episodes will air next week, while scenes this week will see Daisy make the decision to leave the Cobbles for good.
