A probe has been launched following an "unprovoked attack" on a carer at Liverpool Central Station.
The incident occurred around 6.20pm on Saturday, June 28, when a man caring for a wheelchair-bound individual was punched in the face and threatened by two women.
Merseyside Police reported that the women turned aggressive when they were stopped from trying to push the wheelchair-bound man away. The victim, a man in his 50s, suffered facial bruising and arm injuries. This comes after a 34-year-old grandmother in the Wirral was arrested for being high while driving her daughter to school.
Extensive CCTV and witness enquiries have been carried out, and detectives have released CCTV images of two women who they believe could aid their investigation.

Detective Inspector Paula Jones stated:
"This was an unprovoked assault which left the victim with bruising to his face and cuts to his arm.
"The carer was trying to give the dependent man a lovely day out that was sadly spoilt by these women's actions.
"Both men were left vulnerable by this vicious assault and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has information which can help with our investigation to please contact us.
"I am also appealing to the women featured in the image, or anyone who recognises them, to come forward.
"We believe they could hold information that could be vital to our continuing enquiries."
