Striking artwork detailing key moments from the have been released for the first time. The series of paintings perfectly capture significant moments from inside Westminster Abbey as well as the iconic Buckingham Palace balcony moment and the Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle.
Nineteen images have been released ahead of the second anniversary of the historic occasion on Tuesday, which Charles and Camilla will mark by unveiling the recently completed official Coronation State Portraits. The portraits, undertaken by Peter Kuhfeld and Paul S. Benney respectively, were commissioned by The King and Queen and will form part of The Royal Collection.
As part of the Coronation celebrations, Charles commissioned five artists to capture some of the most significant moments of the long weekend.
