A major motorway is currently closed after a crash involving four vehicles before rush hour. The M11 is shut in both directions between junction 11 and junction 12 (Cambridge) and there are severe 90-minute delays in the area, with diversions in place.
Emergency services attended the scene following the incident which Cambridgeshire Constabulary described as "serious". Three people were taken to hospital, including one who sustained serious injuries. Motorists are being advised to avoid the area, with the section of road likely to remain closed for "sevrale more hours", according to National Highways.
