Nicola Peltz 'didn't take well' to Victoria Beckham's uncomfortable comment amid 'feud'

Tensions allegedly grew between and her daughter-in-law after a recent family gathering went awry. A source claimed that the fashion designer made an awkward comment to the American actress that left the pair even more at odds. The feud between the pair was alleged to have started over Nicola deciding to wear a Valentino dress instead of one designed by Victoria when she tied the knot with back in a no-expenses-spared spectacle in 2022.

Recently, the drama between the Peltz's and Beckhams has appeared to ramp up on social media, with onlookers inferring a rift from the parties' failure to like one another's Instagram posts or acknowledge major milestones. None of the Beckhams liked a post celebrating the young couple's third wedding anniversary. At the same time, Brooklyn and Nicola have missed several other family events, notably David's recent 50th birthday celebrations and Victoria's 50th birthday last year.

A source told "Tensions rose at their wedding and that situation has continued; Victoria and Nicola don't really get along. Over the past few months, Nicola has been causing things to fester and everyone to fall out.

"When they were last together, Victoria was talking about babies, saying that she was a young mum and that it might be a good idea to get going. Nicola didn't take well to that."

Despite flying into London during the week David turned 50, the couple failed to show up at any of the several events planned to mark his big day, leaving the whole family upset and disappointed with their apparent rift now clear to see.

However, despite the shocking snub, insiders say that David and Victoria want a family summit and to resolve the crisis as soon as possible with their 26-year-old son, who is based in California with his wife of three years.

A separate source told MailOnline: "There has been no call, no contact. As parents, David and Victoria are concerned for their son, and they have tried to get in touch, but he isn't interested. David even tried through social media last Monday because he fears that his son won't know that he and Victoria love him so dearly otherwise.

"It is a terribly sad situation. They just want him to know that they are there for him when he's ready to talk to them but he simply doesn't seem very interested at all. Nicola must be behind this, she has been driving this wedge for some years now."

Nicola has said the couple chose to skip the family events because they feel uncomfortable around Romeo's new girlfriend Kim Turnbull, who is rumoured to have dated Brooklyn in the past.
