The worst kept secret in gaming, multiple leaks point towards the imminent release of IV: Oblivion Remastered for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
According to the latest reports, , complete with visual enhancements, quality of life upgrades and all of the post-release DLC from the original game. However, it's supposedly even better for subscribers, because the reports suggest Elder Scrolls Oblivion Remastered will come to Xbox Game Pass as a day-one release. The news appears to have been confirmed by a member of the Xbox Support Staff, as you can see from the tweet below.
Responding to a question about Oblivion coming to Xbox Cloud Gaming, a Support Staff member is claimed to have replied: "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is set to release on April 21, 2025.
"It is confirmed to be a day-one launch title on Xbox Game Pass which strongly suggests that it will be available for cloud gaming through Xbox Cloud Gaming."
If the leak is correct, then Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is joining Xbox Game Pass during a month that's .
The April Xbox Game Pass line-up kicked off with the likes of Blue Prince, Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition, Still Wakes the Deep and South of Midnight earlier in the month.
Microsoft announced an arguably even stronger line-up for the end of April and beginning of May.
This includes GTA 5, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Far Cry 4, as well as day-one releases such as Tempopo and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
Towerborne will launch as an early access Game Preview title on April 29, followed by Anno 1800 on May 1 and Dredge on May 6.
Other Game Pass releases scattered throughout the month of April and early May include speedrunning action game Neon White, as well as SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game and Crime Scene Cleaner.
If Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion really does come to Xbox Game Pass on April 21, then this month will surely go down as one of the best in the subscription service's history.
